When this company was founded in 2022, Bangladesh’s trade volumes were growing faster than the services supporting them. Importers were being quoted one figure and billed another; exporters were losing shipping dates to avoidable documentation errors. We set out to build a house that competes not on the lowest quotation, but on certainty — accurate declarations, honest cost sheets and cargo that arrives when we said it would.
That principle has guided every decision since. We invested first in people, recruiting licensed customs agents and Certified Customs Specialists with real experience at the counter, and only then in scale — opening offices at Chattogram Sea Port, Dhaka Airport, Benapole Land Port and inside the DEPZ, AEPZ, CEPZ and KEPZ zones so that our clients never depend on a stranger’s goodwill at a gateway we do not staff ourselves.
Today Rafin Cargo Transport Ltd. handles more than a thousand import and export consignments a year for denim and spinning mills, garment manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, food and beverage producers and power-plant projects. Each of those relationships began with a single shipment that we were trusted to get right.
As Bangladesh moves further into global manufacturing, logistics will decide which factories stay competitive. My working life has been spent at the gateways of this country — at the Chattogram quay, in the airport cargo village, at the Benapole land port and inside the EPZ gates. That experience taught me a simple lesson: most logistics problems are not caused by distance or by customs. They are caused by information arriving too late to act on.
So we built RCTL around that problem. We offer customs brokerage at all the major land ports, sea ports and airports of Bangladesh, supported by our own transport fleet and warehousing — a genuine one-stop solution for clearance and delivery, transportation, warehousing and freight. Because these functions sit under one roof, nothing is lost between parties, and a single file manager can tell you exactly where your cargo is and what it will cost.
Our team consists of licensed customs agents, Certified Customs Specialists and professional logistics specialists with a consolidated 10+ years of international trade experience, particularly with the Bangladesh Government customs authority — preparation of import and export documents, HS classification and the computation and payment of duties, taxes and other charges accruing thereon. Our clearance department operates 24 hours a day because high-volume RMG and perishable cargo does not keep office hours.
We are proud to serve as the enlisted C&F agent for 100% export-oriented denim, spinning and garment industries inside the DEPZ, CEPZ and KEPZ, as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers, food and beverage producers, buying houses and power-plant projects. We hold ourselves to their standard, not our own.
